cannot delete or move message from outbox

How can I send email using vista

Try updating to Vista SP1 and that should fix the issue.

The Windows Mail that comes with Vista is the usual method. Are you
having trouble starting it?

If you want to connect Windows Mail to a yahoo.com account, you have
to either pay extra or install YPOPs:

This problem occurs when the stream entries for the messages are
inaccessible before Windows Mail deletes the messages from the Outbox.

Download the 941090 package. After you apply the update, you can delete
the messages that are stuck in the Outbox. Try sending emails again.

Hello Diane,

This will help show you how to fix the stuck undeletable email message
problem in Windows Mail for all folders.

Installing the KB941090 update will just fix the problem for now. You
must stop the cause to prevent it from happening again. Read the section
titled "FIRST" in this tutorial about antivirus and other security
programs to help prevent this from happening again, then install the
KB941090 Microsoft Update in the section titled "SECOND" to fix and be
able to delete the stuck message from the problem folder.
