Newsgroups.
Hi.
I am having major problems with newsgroups in Windows Mail. Loading a
group is very slow, Doing a catch up is slow, everything is generally
slow. Is this a general problem? Everything is fine with Firefox.

Re: Newsgroups.
I haven't seen this happen. I started using Thunderbird Portable so I
can use it anywhere on my USB drive.

Sorry, meant everything is fine with Thunderbird. I was using Gravity
under XP, but cannot get it to connect to the server in Vista. Tried
Windows mail, but had all those problems, tried Thunderbird and it's fine.

Try Tools | Options | Advanced | Maintenance | Clean Up Now and see if that
helps.

Re: Newsgroups.
May I ask what Firefox (a Web Browser) has to do with Windows Mail (an email
and newsgroup reader client)? I really don't see the relationship here,
except for the fact that they can co-exist on a computer.

If you read my follow, posted within a short time of my original, up you
will see I meant Thunderbird.

Unfortunately, it is normal and a general problem.
