Windows Mail often has problems attaching files that are still open in some
other program. Try closing any other programs that use those files before
you try to attach and send them.

What program are you using to send the message?

Are you closing all other programs that access the attachment files before
you try to attach them? Windows Mail often has problems attaching any
files that are open in some other program.

Which email program are you using to send the email? If it's Windows
Mail, that program has problems adding attachments while they are still
open in some other program.

I'm not sure if that version of Microsoft Office even includes the Outlook
email program.

RE: "some of the files could not be found"
Hi Paul,

I'm not exactly sure about this, but I do know that if you have the document
you're trying to send open at the time, it won't work.... I'm sure you've
already tried this, but thought I'd let you know just incase.

I am trying to send a PDF attachment and get the same message. The PDF file
is not open nor is Acrobat. How do I get this to send?
