RE: "some of the files could not be found"
Thank you one and all. I was starting to feel really frustrated (and stupid!)
Whoever suggested a little pop-up telling you to close your files, gets a
gold star.

RE: "some of the files could not be found"
Thank you for the advice. I was having the same trouble and thought that my
flash drive was going bad since I stored my document there. I closed it and
then attached it. It worked! Thank you again!!!!

RE: "some of the files could not be found"
Has anyone answered this question yet? In order to attach files, I am having
to use hotmail instead of Windows Mail.

Re: "some of the files could not be found"
Just make sure the file you are trying to attach is not in use by some
other program, like Word.

RE: "some of the files could not be found"
That worked, I closed the opened Word file I was trying to email, and was
sent, but the pop up message could have made it easier by telling me this was
the problem.

RE: "some of the files could not be found"
Thank you soooooooooooo much. I was driving myself crazy wondering why
the document wasn't attached to my email every time I sent it out till I read
your post. Figures Microsoft didn't help. That's why they refer you to
"communities" to find out what you need to know!

Re: "some of the files could not be found"
Make sure you do not have that document open in Word.
You can't attach something that is in use elsewhere.
