Hi all,
Windows Mail by default blocks images and other external content in HTML.
How do I go about unblocking it so I can see images instead of have to open
an attachment?

Thanks for your time,
Alice

Re: HTML
Tools | Options | Security and uncheck the option to block external content.
You also will need to make sure you aren't reading in plain text only via
Tools | Options | Read.

Re: HTML
Thank you Steve,

I had it set to read in plain text only. Now all is well!

Thanks again for your time,
Alice

Re: HTML
I have tried the security & read settings and both are set as you suggest,
yet still my HTML options are greyed out - any ideas?

Re: HTML
I mean as in "View image as HTML". The option is greyes out, so I can't
choose it, something somewhere appears to be blocking it.

Re: HTML
My settings definately have the Tools / Options / Read / Plain Text box
unchecked.

My settings also definately have the Security settings set to accept HTML.

I can't wait to install Outlook at the moment.......

regards,
Freddie

Re: HTML
WinMail won't turn a plain text message into HTML. Send yourself and HTML
message and if you receive it correctly, then its working correctly.
