Exporting Mail Form Outlook Express

Can Mail be Exported from Oulook Express?

I am trying to Export my Mail from Outlook Express on a WINXP PC. When I
select Export I get the following message:

"An Error Occurred Whil Initializing MAPI".

The export feature in OE is only for exporting to Outlook.

If you wish to get your messages from OE into WinMail, then copy the message
store directory to a local directory on the hard drive and make sure no
files are read only. The directory must contain folders.dbx. Then use
File | Import | Messages in WinMail and point to that directory. See also
