Make a new folder in your Documents folder and copy the DBX files to it,
including Folders.dbx. Then use File | Import | Messages.

Re: OE6 messages to Windows Mail
And if that doesn't work, DBXpress (www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/) will extract
the messages as eml files that can be dragged into a WM folder.

My OEX program (www.oehelp.com/OEX/) already will import dbx files into the
message store directly in OE, and it will be available soon for WinMail as
well.

That's not working for me. After browsing to the folder, the 'search box'
says no documents meet the criteria.

I've copied all the files from the Outlook Express folder on an XP machine
[OE 6] to a folder in Documents on Vista. File|Import|Messages|Outlook
Express 6|OE Store| => no documents match criteria.

Any idea?

Thanks

Also, none of the files are Read Only. Security says I have full control.

Re: OE6 messages to Windows Mail
Sorry. I found that you have to 'Select Folder' - as opposed to selecting
the individual files. That worked.
