same emails in both windows mail and windows live mail

I just installed Windows Live mail and have found that my incoming emails are going into both Windows mail and Windows Live mail. Is there some solution for this or should I just keep deleting them in my windows mail account?

If you don't wish to continue using Windows Mail, then remove the accounts in it.

Many solutions:
a) stop running Windows Mail, or
b) configure Windows Mail not to download email automatically, or
c) disable or remove individual accounts from Windows Mail.
