Re: Windows Mail
Please clarify what you want...
You can place a shortcut to Windows Mail on your desktop.
Or a shortcut to your contacts folder...
but not to your "accounts"....

Re: Windows Mail
We have one windows vista user account for our 2 boys. They have 2 separate
comcast email accounts. We wanted them to have the ability to click on (and
launch) the download of the individual email inboxs to separate windows mail
accounts. We see where we can create 2 accounts (via 'add account'
(preferences) but only see the 'default' account on desktop

Re: Windows Mail
If you add both email accounts to Windows Mail, under the one user account,
all email will be downloaded into one Inbox. There is no way to create
separate shortcuts to different accounts in one email program.

You could use 2 separate email programs, like Windows Mail, and Windows Live
Mail, and only add one of the accounts to each program.

Or, you could create a Vista user account for each boy, and set up Windows
Mail to have a single account each.

In addition to what Dave suggested. You could use Windows Live Mail
Beta 2. It supports Pop3, IMAP, HTTP website (EX: Hotmail) email, and
is a lot more stable. Plus, WLM will minimize to a tray bar icon and has
a "separate Inbox for each account". WLM will automatically import
Windows Mail messages, accounts, and settings into it. Contacts will
have to be manually imported from within WLM. (Tools, Contacts, File,
Import, Address book for current Windows User.)

For US and UK (32 bit Vista):

For US and UK (64 bit Vista):
'Windows Live Beta 2 Suite Downloads'

For non-US and non-UK locations (direct download):
