Cannot send/receive email thru wireless network

Hi,

My office is using access point for wireless network. The problem with
windows mail, it cannot send or receive email using wireless. If I want to
check or send mail, I have to connect thru broadband connection.

Please help...

Hi, I have a similar problem, using wireless connection. Internet working
fin, however when i click send/receive in Windows Mail i am prompted to
select a dial up connection. I dont have a dial up and believe that Mail
should use the same connection settings as IE. I have Norton 360 anti virus
installed and have been advised to uninstall this program. I have spent an
hour online with Norton and they promise me that the programs are compatible.
I did try deselecting firewall, email scanning and transaction, all to no
avail. Please help. thanks

Are these 2 connections with the same network (same ISP)?
If they connect to the same network, it shouldn't matter if it's wired or
wireless.

Yes. It same ISP. The problem is whenever you click on the send/receive, it
start popup asking to connect with broadband...

I also use microsoft outlook which don't have this problem at all.

Not sure how, but I have simply reinstalled WM and it now seems to be fine,
and I am using all Norton 360 features. Thanks for help

It's just a matter of time before Norton corrupts your WM again.
