Sharing email between laptop and desktop
I recently got a laptop that runs Vista Windows Mail. My desktop runs XP
Outlook Express. I set up a wireless network and would like to be able to
view and send mail on both computers. How do I set this up? I set up my
server info on both accounts, but I keep getting this message:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'bresnan.net', Server: 'mail.bresnan.net', Protocol:
POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10053, Error Number:
0x800CCC0F

Not sure where to go from here. Getting frustrated. Any help would be
appreciated!

Tools | Accounts
Double click the account.
On the Advanced tab check the box to leave a copy on the server and the two
boxes below it.

Email scanning should be turned off in any anti-virus. Also exclude EML
files from the scan. It provides no
protection not provided by the regular resident protection.
Besides that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail and
Outlook Express and should be uninstalled.
