You might have better results if you export from Outlook to Outlook Express
on the old machine, copy the OE .DBX files to the new machine and import
those with Windows Mail:

Alternatively, install Outlook on your Vista machine and connect it to your
..PST file. WM's import function will then work and you will no longer get
the error message.
