vista takes ages to install
When i first installed vista it did not take much time , but after formatting
my HD and installing vista again it comes to the point where it says
expanding files and it takes ages ....i really mean ages ...i sat in front of
the screen and in 3 hours it was just 37% complete...i give up now ...please
help me installing vista as fast as people say it can be installed...why i
can install XP in less than 15 minutes on the same machine

My Specs:
Intel core 2 duo
965 intel motherboard
SATA drive
7950 GX2 graphics card

Re: vista takes ages to install
Are you trying to Add Vista on another or on the same partition as XP. What steps did you take to reformat and how .
