INSTALLING A NEW SOUNDCARD
MY NEW PROGRAM SAIDS TO UNINSTALL THE OLD AUDIO SOFTWARE BEFORE I INSTALL
THE NEW ONE. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO DO THAT? I'M UPGRADING TO AUDIGY 2

Replacing an existing card or installing new instead of onboard ?
If the latter in addition to removal via device manager(ref. Mke Hall post) also disable the onboard in the bios.
