Two version of Vista

I recently purchased a new desktop with vista pre installed. When starting
for the first time the machine wouldnt boot up as it said vista had
encountered a problem. i was able to re-install vista onto the machine but
now when i boot up the machine always asked which version of vista i want to
use!

Is there a simple way to get rid of this ?

Honestly, I would take the new machine back to the seller and make them
deal with it. This kind of nonsense just shouldn't happen.

Download EasyBCD and use it to delete the unwanted entry.

Hi,

Click start, type 'msconfig' and hit <enter>. On the boot tab, click on the
errant boot entry and remove it.
