Have you checked out imaging applications. I use Acronis True Image 10 Home
Edition. You can learn about it here:

If it interests you, you might want to check out Amazon and some other
places for a better price but be sure it isn't an upgrade version as that
would require the key from your previous version plus the new key in order
to install.
In any event, I've already used it for the purpose you've mentioned though I
don't have a Dell. But I can tell you on my setup, I've already used it to
replace a setup without issue. Before you do anything, You might want to
check with Dell to be sure you won't have issues trying to restore such an
image as some proprietary systems can be a bit finicky.
