Vista Ultimate x64 Installation Reboot Issue

I have an Acer 5052 laptop, on which the Vista Beta 2 (x64 version) runs just
fine. I tried installing the Vista Ultimate x64 Retail, and it completes the
first installation part, then reboots...
When "starting windows for the first time..." it just reboots and cannot
ever start up.

Trying to start windows normally just makes it reboot after the initial
progressbar screen

Trying to start in safemode shows that the last driver loaded is crcdisk.sys
and then it restarts

What is the problem here? Any ideas would be welcome...

That "Windows starting for the first time..................." is at my
best guess is part 2/6 during setup, its unknown to me what this part of
setup does. I recommend searching for the setup log found on the vista
installation somewhere.
