Reverting to XP
Hi,

I've installed Vista Ultimate on one of my desktops, now I want to uninstall
it. I found this fix,

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=933168&SD=tech

but I can't find the folder Windows.old on my PC. Why would the upgrade
installation create Windows.old folders in some cases but not in others?

Thanks

Karl

Pretty sure you have to choose to save the "old" OS files.

Re: Reverting to XP
Windows.old is created if at the time of installation, via DVD boot, you
selected the "Custom" install option.
