spell check in English

When I attempt use use spell check I get a message that tells me spell check
is no longer available in English. What gives?

Hi,

Click Tools/Options and on the Spelling tab make sure English is selected
under the Language dropdown.

when i try to use spellcheck it says i don't have a dictionary installed.

Please tell us, step by step, HOW are you trying to spell check? In which
program: Windows Mail? Word? Or some other application?

Since this is a Vista newsgroup, I assume you are using Vista, but please
confirm this; many WinXP and Win7 users post here, too.
