On Dell laptop following error comes "Windows cannot connect to <network name>

When I do "connect to" then the wireless network is detected but when I
click on Connect then almost after 40-50 sec. comes the following error:

Windows cannot connect to <network name>

Diagnose problem
Connect to other network

I clicked on diagnose
Then comes:

Windows association failed due to an unknown reason.

Try connecting to <network name> again
Connect to other network

Kindly suggest what to do? nothing seems to work.
