HELP PLEASE!! switch from 32bit to 64bit?

ok, i have a vaio VGN-CS215J 64bit and before, i got some virus into it
and it kept getting blue screen, then i tried to recover but it got me
to a point where i start up the laptop and it has the message "BOOTMGR
is missing" so i couldnt start the laptop at all, my cuzin helped me
reinstall it with vista ultimate but it was 32bit bc he didnt know that
it was supposed to be 64bit, now im stuck with this 32 bit laptop that
has no drivers that is compatitible to it:cry:, bc on the sony website,
the drivers for my laptop is only 64 bit or XP, i tried to install some
drivers of other closely related version laptop but there are soo many
errors, so i want to get back to the 64bit but i dont know how bc i put
the disc in and it doesnt let me install. Help pleaseeee

Hi,

If you have Sony's disk, then you need to boot from it and follow their
instructions. Recovery methods vary by manufacturer, there is no routine
that applies to all.

sorry for that , but you need to do format and reinstall 64X vista or xp
.. as you like .

do you know how to change bios option ? when you turn on your pc in
first screen you will see " press IF2 or delete or a IF 11 to enter
setup "

when you enter the setup , look for boot device , and set the DVD
first boot device

then inser win disc , and restart !

and i think you will see " press any key to boot from cd . . . . "

press enter or any key ! and you will enter the setup ! choise the
drive and 64x windows ultmait or andy V you want .

Chances are that your recovery partition still contains the 64bit
version. I would try to install from there. If that does not work, call
Sony. They usually ship an installation disk for a S&H charge.
