While upgrading from XP to Vista the computer locks up.

When I am trying to update from XP to Vista the upgrade gets into the
last step and eventually locks up after a period of disk activity and a
couple of screen flashes. There are no problem areas when I check with
the Vista upgrade adviser or during the upgrade. The computer is a
Toshiba Satellite M45-S355.

The 'setuperr.log' has this in it:
