Hi,
The only thing I'd mention is that if the 8GB of memory occupy all the
motherboard slots, you may need to remove 1/2 of them to have a successful
install due to a known timing issue when all 4 slots are in use. The extra
ram can be reinstalled after the fact, and Vista will not have any problem
in recognizing it.
It is always a wise idea to backup critical data to removable media before
doing any OS installation, as you never know what may go wrong.
