Converting FAT32 to NTFS

When I try to convert I get an error message "Conversion from FAT32 to NTFS.
Volume is not available." What do I do????

May be you partition is in use.So try to restart in prompt mode and type
command
convert c: /FS:NTFS is only an example in this sample is the letter c:
is convert to NTFS.
