You can made a second partition for XP, with Vista's Drive Management.
Shrink the Vista partition and make free space, and make in it a
partition and format it. Now You can boot from the XP CD and install
in the new partition. Afther that you can restore the Vista boot
with a program like EasyBCD, even for XP.
