Disk to Disk Image
Today I installed Windows Vista Ultimate on my workstation, and use GHOST83
backuped the system, as the follow steps,
1. Connect 3 SATA HDDs on SATA port0, port1 and port2;
2. Create a RAID1 volume with SATA0 and SATA1 in RAID BIOS;
3. Install Windows Vista via Microsoft resource DVD on RAID 1 volume;
4. Format the entire HDD on SATA port2 for NTFS under OS;
5. Boot to DOS and launch GHOST83;
6. Run Disk-to-Disk image to backup the system disk on other disk;
7. Reboot system after it done;
8. Shutdown the system during it POST;
9. Remove the RAID1 volume;
10. Power on system and try to boot from the copy HDD;
11. But it failed and show "Windows boot manager";
12. Boot from the RAID1 volume again and found that the file size on
resource HDD and the copy HDD is the same;
The copy HDD is not bootable. I am confused. Who can give me some suggestions?
