Hi:
In XP you would surely be using ActiveSync for your synchronization tasks.
Vista no longer supports ActiveSync but offers you WMDC (Windows Mobile
Device Center), downloadable here:

Please note that WMDC is useful only if your PDA is PocketPC 2003 or higher.
Older devices, like PocketPC 2002, cannot use the syncing features of WMDC.
