Syncing Vista with Hand Held computer (PDA)

I am a rookie - I am even new to this forum.
I used to run XP and sync my computer with my Hand held computer before
my PDA crashed. My PDA is the Mio pocket PC and runs on Outlook 2002. My
new computer is running on Vista and I cannot get the two computers to
sync in order to syncronise my outlook data (contacts, notes, calendar
etc). Is there anyone that can guide me. Do I need another software,
I'm using the windows media device center which does not form
partnership with my hand held computer. Someone please help!!!!!

Hi:
In XP you would surely be using ActiveSync for your synchronization tasks.
Vista no longer supports ActiveSync but offers you WMDC (Windows Mobile
Device Center), downloadable here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...icecenter.mspx
Please note that WMDC is useful only if your PDA is PocketPC 2003 or higher.
Older devices, like PocketPC 2002, cannot use the syncing features of WMDC.
