remote shut down

hi i am trying to figure out how to shutdown a vista 32 machine while
remotely connected from vista 64 machine
while connected i can use everything no problem.
but i would like to be able to shut it down when finished as its in
another room
any help appreciated

is it possible to put a short cut on the desktop for the shut down
button

Try the "shutdown" command from an administrative command prompt
