Vista Re-installation Problem .. plz help
Hi everyone ..
i bought a Toshiba laptop almost 18 months ago .. with windows Vista
Home Premium operating system .. it was working fine till the day i
decided to downgrade it to winxp .. i managed to do that through a
friend .. it worked fine for a week and then started giving me problems
and slowing down .. really slowing down in start up .. well .. and slow
response of the programmes ...
anyways .. again i thought of going back to Vista as i already have the
recovery CD with me .. however, when i started the machine and installed
the recovery CD .. i worked fine till it reached 24% then it stopped and
asked for restart ..
Now everytime i start the machine it gives me the following msg:
Windows failed to start. A recent hardwar or software change might be
the cause. To fix the problem:
1. Insert you windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2. Choose your language settings, and then click "Next".
3. Click "Repair you Computer".
the porblem is that in step 3 .. the system only gives me one choic ..
which is "Install Windows Vista" .. !!!!!!!!!!!!
am stuck .. i cant go back to the winxp system .. at the same time
re-installing Vista seems to be impossible in this situation ..
PLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Help Me
