Vista not able to update

Hello
I m Shiven and have Vista ultimate 32 bit
I have installed it 10 days back
First day when I updated it was able to update only 2 files and then suddenly gave 2 errors- 80244019 and 80072EFD.
Not only this but I have AVG Free Edition and Spyware Doctor ,none of them was able to update
I even tried downloading SUPERantispyware and antimalware but it didn't get installed. Now what should I do ????
