reinstal from raid 0 to single drive

I have Vista x64 Ultimate installed on raid 0 and complete backup made
with Windows backup utility on a different drive in my pc. I decided to
reassign drives from raid and I want to reinstall system on a single
drive. Can I use the backup I have and fully restore the system? Thank
you.

You can but try, much depends on the raid controller, you may have repair
vista
I hope you have separate data backups

Hi,

Probably not, as the hardware layer will be very different and unlikely to
be able to adapt to the single drive to a point where it's bootable. If you
are able to, you'll likely need to do an in-place upgrade to rebuild it.
