How do I transfer my quickbooks 2007 data from my xp computer to a new vista computer

How do I transfer my quickbooks 2007 data on my xp computer to my new
vista x64 computer with quickbooks 2007? Can this be done? If so how
do I do it?:huh:

You might want to check with QuickBooks technical support. I imagine the
process would involve backing up QuickBooks then restoring to the new
computer.

I am not sure about Quickbooks (I use Quicken 2009), But if the process
is similiar here is how:
Create a backup to external source (say cd/dvd or thumbdrive).
Reinstall Quickbooks on Vista, and restore from backup.

Back up the QuickBooks company(s) to your hard drive. Move the backup files
to the new computer. Install QuickBooks 2007 on the new computer. Then open
QB 07 and choose Open or Restore Company... from the File drop down menu.
Follow the prompts. Do this for eacn QuickBooks company that you have.
