Dual boot XP and Vista

Hi. I need some help with my problem. I have Windows Vista Installed
on a single hard drive and Windows XP installed on a RAID 0 setup
(2x250) hard drive. I can log into windows Vista no problem, but when i
try to boot into XP i get a error message asking me to use vista CD to
repair system.

When i boot into Vista, I can see the XP hard drive ( G: ) and when I
try to open it i am told to format it. Is there a solution to this. If
i can't boot into XP it is not a big deal, I just don't want to formart
the hard drive and loose everything on it.

I have used EasyBCD to tweak the MBR but no success.

Any help is appriciated

Re: Dual boot XP and Vista
Try using a file recovery program to see if it can find files on the
raid drive.

Re: Dual boot XP and Vista

Those handles of not being able to access disks from within OS can be
circumvented by entering the disk from either 'DOS' environment or for
example a linux environment.. grab yoru files... but unless you find the
specific error (dont know raid disks personally), you might have to
format it... If its large and u dont know where to put all the data..
ya.. sucks.. borrow a USB disk or buy DVD discs or something
