Easy Transfer From 2000 - All But Email

I used Easy Transfer from a win2000 machine to Vista Ult.
All the files transferred properly, but nothing associated with email
transferred.

Is there a trick to it, or is email one of the things that just doesn't work
from win2k?

Which e-mail client were you using in Windows 2000? Were the e-mail data
stores in a non-standard location under Windows 2000? Whether or not you can
use Easy Transfer I'm sure you can find a way to retrieve the e-mail data
from the Windows 2000 installation and import it on the Vista Ultimate system
-- assuming the Windows 2000 system is still available?

I tried to use Easy Transfer from a win2000 machine to Vista Prem. a Belkin
transfer cable that came with small software disc that Win2000 can't read. I
wasn't able to transfer any files. Did you use a different Easy Transfer
cable?? Or do you have any suggustions on what i might try?
