SP1 Install Fails

Attempts to install Vista SP1 result in Error code: 0x800F0826. Text of teh
error also points to a KB article, 947366, which suggests several
resolutions. I have tried them all but install continues to fail.

I'm using the local admin account to attempt the upgrade and I have also
tried doing it in Safe Mode.

Any suggestions as to how this can be fixed are greatly appreciated.

Disable your UAC, anti-virus and firewall.
