Can I clean install Vista Ultimate X64 SP1 with 4GB RAM remain untouched?

Can I clean install Vista Ultimate X64 (SP1 built in) with 4GB RAM
remain untouched and fully address/use whole 4GB RAM after installation
completed?

Or I've to remove 2GB RAM for the installation...and put them back till
it finished and reboot?

mine install just fine, but I have an AMD instead of an intel.

I couldn't....See my earlier post regarding BSOD

I had to remove some of the memory (in my case I removed 2GB), did the
install, ran the Hotfix to allow memory above 3GB, then replaced the removed
memory modules.
