Well, there is no upgrade path from a 32-bit operating system
to a 64-bit operating system. If you wish to install the 64-bit
version of Windows Vista, you must perform a "clean install".
When you insert a Windows Vista 64-bit DVD within a 32-bit
operating system, the operation is unsuccessful:
