You will not be able to create three partitions because you already have
two, and the maximum is four.
Vista can shrink partitions, but I think that you are better off buying
Acronis Disk Director. If, at any point, you have to do a destructive
recovery, you will need to use it again because OEM destructive restores
generally remove user created partitions.
For this reason, you will need to ensure that you have a reliable way to
backup. An external USB dive and Acronis TrueImage would fit the bill well..
