ODBC issue on Vista

I installed the Oracle express 10g client odbc driver on Vista 32bit and
found that all ODBC connections are now extremly slow, even to mdb files. I
understand that Vista doesn't use MDAC, so installing it won't help. How do I
reinstall ODBC on Vista?

DAC is the Vista version of MDAC, perhaps there is something here

Actually, I have just found the answer....under the Tracing tab of the ODBC
Administrator, if I disable tracing my connection functions as it should.

Thanks for the suggestion though.
