I have got this problem solved, by simply making the HD back in the boot
list in the Bios.

Mine is a Thinkpad X60s with 100GB drive. I used to exclude the HD in
the boot list, as I want to reboot from the external DVD-RW. However, it
showed me that error message.

Looks like there are a few, not one problem to bring that ugly message.
But we've seen some solutions here as well. Good luck to those of you
who is trying to get it fixed.
