help activating

have vista installed on gteway lappy, 30 days is up and I try to acyivate it
but it says Im using the code on another pc, but I uninstalled it a year ago

Find the toll free number. You'll have to call them.

Select "Activate by Phone", and give MS a call. The code was in use by your
other PC, and it needs to be verified by phone to be activated. But, they
will get you up and running in about 5 minutes with no problems.
