How can I opt out of Windows Customer Experience?
Hello. After wading through my task scheduler, it appears that I am
participating in the Windows Customer Experience Program. (I don't remember
opting in.) I would like to opt out or disable these types of
communications, only I don't know how. Would some kind soul please assist?
Thanks

Hi,

Open the Media Player, click tools/options and disable the option on the
privacy tab to participate in this program.

Re: How can I opt out of Windows Customer Experience?

Hm. I believe that the original question was concerning Windows Consumer
Experience Improvement Program, not Media Player's Consumer Experience
Improvement Program. I do not have Media Player's Consumer Experience
Improvement Program enabled, but I am still getting notices from Vista
asking me if I want to join the Windows Consumer Experience Improvement
Program.
