windows installer is not correctly installed

When trying to access my bank accounts via Quicken 2007 I receive the
messages "the windows installer service could not be accessed.........
Windows installer is not correctly installed."

Any ideas what the problem is and how to resolve the issue?

I am new to my 64 bit Vista system.

I have no problems with other programs that I have loaded since getting this
new POC.

Check at Enuit's website.
I don't think Quickens 2007 is vista compatible; you need 2008.

Enuit website that you speak of. Could you or someone direct me to its

when im trying to install any program in my computer it gives me a
message that window installer could not assessed due to the programe not
collectly installed, so what im i suppose to do
