Vista Buisness Oem

I have been asked by my company to evaluate Vista Buisness for use in our
company. All of our laptops are purchased from HP and as of a few months ago
come with Vista OEM licenses so licenses are not a problem. But as soon as we
receive a new laptop it is imaged with XP removing the original windows vista
installation and recovery partition. So we have no copy of Vista oem.

Does anyone know a place I can download Vista OEM, (Note I only want the
files don't want a pirate copy) which I can use with our OEM key.

Hi,

You should contact HP with a request for the appropriate recovery set. Vista
OEM is not available for download, only retail via MSDN/Technet.

I thought you would say that, It was worth a try, HP said they will take 8-10
days was hoping for something sooner. Oh well.

See if on a Vista computer you can't make your own set of recovery CDs. Many
manufacturers ( I know Lenovo has this available) have this capability.

Hi John,

The problem is that they've wiped any of the Vista machines and put XP on
them. So they have no place to create an image from.
