Telephony Error Message

When we try to start the Telephony Service in a windows vista ultimate
machine we get the following error:

Error 1079: The account specified for this is service is different than the
accounts already running in the process.

If i start the service using network service account, all works fine. But
in our case we need to start the service as the local system account.

Any ideas?
