Does anytime upgrade 32 bit over ride a 64 bit if that is what I h

I Went To computer properties and it says 32 bit but not sure what it was
before adding windows anytime upgrade 32 bit will it over ride my 64 if had
it
computer is a acer 3600+ amd Athon 64X2 dual processor and want to \redo it
so can fix it cause it is slow now but will I have to reregister vista if put
back to factory reset.

To change from 32bit to 64 bit, or 64bit to 32bit, it has to be a clean
install.
