some CD's won't autorun

I'm setting up my new PC and find that some CD's won't autorun. In older
versions of Windows I could click START and use the run dialog box to force
it to run or click My Computer and use that to open the CD and run it.
However, I can't find the run dialog box. Where did this box get placed in
this new system? Can anyone tell me how to get those pesky CD's to run?
