Switched to a new hard disk and Vista Ultimate won't activate

Anyone got a clue with this?

Use telephone activation and hold on for an operator if the automated
portion doesn't work.

You will have to call the onscreen phone number to activate it. I've had to do this every time I install, ever since my third time of reinstall. Primarily, I do testing and upgrade often, which accounts for the multiple reinstalls. The phone call is quite easy and painless. Even the live operators are fairly easy to deal with. Just be straight forward and answer their questions, and you will be up and running again, fully activated.
