Outlook e-mail LOST after upgrade to Vista Ultimate from home prem

After upgrade, no 'mail' icon in explorer tool bar. I opened outlook from
programs and signed in with my usual passwod. Outlook contained 2 days of my
e-mail and no personal folders or other e-mail. Please help me retrieve my
e-mails and folders.
