Upgrading?
I bought a pre-loaded laptop with the home version of Vista. If I wanted
to upgrade, can I do it with a full version disc without losing all my info,
or is there a specific upgrade disc? Thanks!

Re: Upgrading?
Yes, you can upgrade to Home Premium by using the Anytime Upgrade
applet located in Control Panel, you will then be taken to a site where you
can purchase a license and use your existing Windows Vista Home Basic DVD to
upgrade to Home Premium.

Whatever you do always "Assume" you are going to lose everything and
make full backups, the software to do it is cheap compared to the time
lost if you don't and will remain useful to you for years.
